Andante Coffee is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Downtown LA. I first stumbled upon this cozy little cafe when I was on the hunt for a good Spanish latte—and let’s just say, I’ve been a regular ever since! My office is just a few blocks away, and now my coworkers and I find ourselves stopping by multiple times a week. It’s our go-to coffee run. What truly makes this place stand out is the staff. Jay and Joshua are absolute pros—especially when it comes to making the perfect matcha latte with sweet cold foam on top. The consistency is always spot on, rich in flavor, and that vibrant green color? Chef’s kiss. It’s the perfect balance of smooth and sweet. Over the past year, I’ve made my way through much of the menu (yes, it’s that good), and the baristas even remember my order. It’s the kind of place where you feel known and welcomed every time you walk in. If you’re on the lookout for the best matcha or Spanish latte in DTLA, *this* is the spot. Trust me—you’ll be hooked after the first sip.

If you want legit good cold brew & almond croissant, this is THE place. Their sweet cold brew has the perfect amount sweetness and excludes the heaviness of a latte. The croissant is full of moist cinammon flavor and the layers are buttery not too flaky. Overall also realized the shop is not just friendly in general but also super dog friendly as well so one can get the chance to see neighborhood doggos :3 there aren't a lot of seats (4 i think?) but this place is definitely worth the drinks/pasteries even for to-go.

Cozy spot with great coffee drinks. Never disappoints. I usually come here for the beans. When you buy a bag you get a free drink plus it makes good coffees so I think it's worth the 20-25 price range. The folks running the place definitely care about what they're doing. Friendly and fast.

Tiny but mighty Japan-focused tea list makes this a must-stop for coffee/tea couples, high pass. Very chill vibes for canine friends and dog treats, lovely DTL ambiance on shady street. Coffee roasting/selection merits further review and would reward long-term study.

Andante is one of those rare gems that feels like a neighborhood hangout more than just a coffee shop. The coffee and pastries are delicious, and the baristas are very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. It’s small and cute, with a couple of tables outside and lots of regulars! Super dog-friendly too, you’ll see lots of pups hanging out while their humans grab a coffee. The setup makes it easy to pop in, enjoy a moment, and feel part of the community.
